Privacy Policy for Launch Video

This policy describes how the Launch Video mobile app (Android package com.vijayt.launchvideo) handles information. Launch Video is operated by Vijay Thirugnanam (“we”, “us”).

Summary

Launch Video creates a video on your device from screenshots and narration you provide. We do not create user accounts, and we do not operate a server that receives your photos, scripts, or videos.

Information the app uses

The app only uses data you choose to provide while using it:

• Photos and screenshots. With your permission, the app reads images you pick from your photo library so it can place them in the video.
• Narration text. Text you type for each screenshot is converted to speech on the device and mixed into the video.
• Generated videos. Finished videos are stored in the app’s cache and, if you allow it, saved to your photo library or Movies folder. If you use Share, the video is sent only to the app or service you select.

The app does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, advertising ID, or payment information.

Permissions

• Photo library / media access — to let you choose screenshots and to save the finished video when you make one.

You can deny or later revoke these permissions in your device settings. Without photo access, you cannot pick screenshots or save videos to the gallery.

How processing works

Image conversion, video encoding, and text-to-speech run on your phone or tablet. Text-to-speech uses the operating system’s speech engine (for example Android Text-to-Speech or iOS AVSpeechSynthesizer). We do not send your text to our own servers. Depending on your device settings, the speech engine installed on your device may be provided by the OS vendor or another engine you have chosen.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your content with advertisers or data brokers. The only sharing that can occur is when you tap Share and pick a destination yourself.

Data retention

Screenshots, scripts, and videos remain on your device unless you delete them, uninstall the app, or clear the app’s storage. Uninstalling the app removes app cache files. Videos you already saved to your gallery stay there until you delete them.

We do not keep a copy of your media on our systems.

Children

Launch Video is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third parties and the stores

Google Play, Apple, and your device manufacturer may collect information according to their own policies (for example app downloads, crash reports, or device diagnostics). That collection is outside this app’s control.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
